Your dating profile is your first impression in the online dating game (I know, online dating isn’t necessarily a “game” to everyone), and so, it’s important that you make the right first impression through your written or video profile, because you only get once chance to make a first impression, and if your profile doesn’t stand out, it gets skimmed over, and is lost to eternity.
Dating online is a numbers game, it’s a competition, and while you might be more caring and sincere than everyone else, it’s still necessary to catch someone’s attention before they can learn about the “real you”.
So, focus on your profile using unique writing, communicate a positive, fun attitude, and do NOT copy/paste your profile from any other website or profile, because the more generic your dating profile sounds, the less likely you’ll meet anyone (or anyone interesting).
