Here is some quick advice for couples that have been together and sometimes feel bored in their relationship:
1) Spending More Quality Time Together
With our daily hectic schedules and long hours at work, it is very difficult to spend quality time with you love one. You might be home from work by 7:30 each night, but until you finish eating and bath, you probably only have one or two of hours to spend together until you have to get ready for bed and another day of work. If you find yourself not spending enough time with your spouse or girlfriend, here are a few tips on creating more quality time together.
You need to plan ahead, if you know that you only have about two hours to spend together each night, make the most of them. Do something important or meaningful together. Work on a project together that will keep both of you close. It can be anything such as working on planning a trip, or putting together a scrap book. Do something that you both enjoy and that brings you together so that you can communicate and show each other how much you care.
Another great way to have more quality time is to plan a weekend getaway. Getaway from it all and enjoy each others company. Weekend getaways are great for couples that have a hectic lifestyle and want to get back to the basics of each other by spending time with one another. So the next time you feel a need for quality time follow the above tips and get closer to each other.
2) Never Stop Dating
That’s right, just because you have been together for many years, doesn’t mean that the passion and fun has to end. Many couples find themselves in a boring routine or without energy once they get free time to spend with their spouse or mate. Here are some tips to make your relationship fun again.
Dating doesn’t have to be time consuming as it was back when you first started dating, but it has be thoughtful and romantic. Now that you know your partner much better, you are able to find activities that he or she likes. Remember the word sacrifice, because sometimes you have to do activities or accompany your spouse where you might not want to, but it will be well worth it once you see your relationship coming alive.
Just as with regular dating, dress to impress. You might want to get a new outfit for the occasion or smell great with a new perfume or cologne. Try out a new activity together, this way it will add excitement. And cap off your date with a small gift or token of love and respect. You don’t have to date every night or even every week, but dating once a month, will make your life and relationship much more interesting and satisfying.
3) Send her a Love Letter
Looking for a great way to send a special message, send her a love letter. Many guys are always looking to find the perfect gift. The truth of the matter that a mans personal feelings about his girlfriend or wife can be one of the best gifts around. Here are some tips on writing a love letter.
Just be your yourself. Many people try to write very romantic and very formal. The best way to write straight from the heart is to just be yourself. Many girls love to receive love letters, and there doesn’t have to be and special occasion to write one.
If you are bad at writing a love letter, or just don’t know what to say, buy a nice card with something cute and add a small personal message. You don’t have to be a poet or romantic to tell your women that you love her. A card with a flower or cute picture and a small note will usually suffice.
For birthdays and special holidays such as Valentines Day, a nice note is always a plus. Many women just want to feel appreciated to make them feel special. So tell her you care about her with a love letter.
